Carota's OTA Lifecycle Management Platform Facilitates Chinese Auto Companies' Global Expansion

The China Automobile and Parts Outboard Summit Forum 2023, organized by Gasgoo, was held in Shanghai on February 23-24, 2023. Carota, the OTA (Over-The-Air) technology provider, showcased its self-developed OTA universal benches and simulation test cabinets at booth A-14.

In 2022, China's automobile exports exceeded 3 million units for the first time, marking a year-on-year growth of 54.4%. The penetration of OTA technology in the automotive industry, particularly in electric vehicles, is increasing with the advent of the software-defined vehicle era. At the forum, Carota focused on the compliance simulation test of OTA regulations at home and abroad, formulated the "Supplier-Model-OTA task-based OTA lifecycle management platform solution" based on the SUMS (Software Update Management System) management specifications, and demonstrated the OTA universal bench independently developed by Carota. The device can simulate and test OTA upgrades, subscriptions, and related functions in compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications, GB "General Technical Requirements for Automotive Software Upgrades," and UNECE WP.29 R156 regulations.
