Under the trend of "Software Defined Vehicles," automotive intelligent cockpits have emerged as a competitive focal point receiving heightened attention from OEMs. The deployment of intelligent cockpit functionalities typically follows a freemium model, aimed at cultivating user habits through offerings such as navigation, in-car entertainment services, mobile data packages, and music libraries.  In the realm of intelligent cockpit development, Over-The-Air (OTA) upgrade functionality is gaining widespread popularity.    By 2023, Chinese passenger cars were reported to achieve an OTA loading rate as high as 66.2%, with upgraded versions encompassing enhancements across multiple dimensions including autonomous driving capabilities, voice recognition and interaction systems, and overall vehicle performance.

OEMs are increasingly adopting software subscription services, such as OTA paid upgrades, car connectivity features, and autonomous driving options, to drive new profit growth. In the future, passenger cars equipped with intelligent digital cockpits (comprising large screens, voice control, IOV and OTA capabilities) will gradually introduce new cabin services through enhanced OTA loading rates.
