Paul Wu is the founder and CEO of Carota. His vision for Carota is to become a core supplier of connected car services between China and the rest of the world. CAROTA builds IoV services and applications such as remote diagnostic services, Infotainment platform, map navigation platform, EV charging platform, ADAS automatic driving services, and enter the car payment service at the right time.

In the past, Paul was in charge of mobile phone chipset network and platform services in MediaTek, when the Android system had not yet provided mobile branded customers with tailor-made OTA update services. Given this opportunity, Paul aimed to reduce the gap of under service in OTA update. He launched SOTA update services to mobile brands worldwide as a third-party service company.

Paul is optimistic about OTAs' future, as wireless updates (OTA) are required for any connected services and devices across domains, from cloud to device. Carota can diagnose automobiles to prevent issues and provide full SOTA and FOTA updates. Paul envisions Carota to be the industry's leading software service provider for OTA and remote diagnostics.

Paul is the founder of General Mobile and co-founder of the mobile accelerator MOX, focusing on various innovative projects in related industries. Paul has served as CEO of Pocketnet Tech., a digital content provider for mobiles. He has also worked for MediaTek, Hon Hai Foxconn Technology Group, and Hong Kong Hutchison Whampoa's TOM Group. Paul has graduated from the Agricultural Economics Department of Taiwan University and obtained an MBA degree from RSM Rotterdam Business School in the Netherlands.

Jacky Zhang serves as CAROTA's Chief Technology Officer since 2018. He is responsible for the global research and development activities associated with IoV and IoT FOTA and oversees the companywide technical and product roadmaps.

Before joining CAROTA, Jacky was the CTO of General Mobile Technology from 2011, responsible for the smartphone FOTA technology and the big data platform. He was the Chief Architect of Barefoot Software, a Monaco-based company that provides mobile publishing and browser solutions. He also worked for Rayonnance Technology in Paris, an enterprise CRM solution provider. Jacky graduated from the Zhejiang University in China and obtained a master's degree in telecommunications from ENSEA in France.

Chung Hsu is the Chief Financial Officer of Carota. He has experience in the IPO of several companies in Taiwan, mainland China, and the United States. He has served as the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and special assistant to the general manager of listed companies in high-level management positions that handle important company decisions. Responsible for high-level tax consulting, fundraising planning, and the establishment of cross-strait head offices, branches, or offices.

Chung served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Realtek Semiconductor affiliated enterprises. He was responsible for the establishment of the head office and branch companies, the formulation of company operating rules and regulations, systematic planning of annual work plans, formulation of standardized work procedures, and assistance to the company in obtaining ISO Certification and high-tech enterprise qualification. In addition, he served as the special assistant to the chairman of the Zhuhai Action Group, the head of the investment department and the spokesperson, and assisted the planning and implementation of Actions' equity restructuring and IPO & SPO.

During his tenure as the investment director of Actions Investment Consulting Co., Ltd., he was responsible for long-term and short-term investment and capital planning and new business development, established overseas investment companies, and venture capital companies in China and Taiwan. Chung has more than 25 years of investment practical experience and mainly led several large-scale investment projects.

Chung graduated from the University of California, Irvine, and had a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Birmingham.

Hiroisa Nagayasu is the General Manager of Carota Taiwan and Overseas Business Department. He served as a senior director in and cloud product-related business group in Quanta Computer lnc. During his 19-year tenure at Quanta, he was mainly responsible for the development of In the Asia-Pacific, Japan, and the US market, the business includes cloud services, telecommunications-related, smart equipment & solutions, and the achievement of each business division has grown significantly.

Before joining Quanta, Hiroisa worked at Wistron and Acer and was responsible for product and business development in the Japanese market of the Computer Division. The clients he was responsible for were all well-known Japanese companies. He is experienced in the electronics industry and has made remarkable achievements in expanding business in Japan and overseas. Hiroisa graduated from National Chiao Tung University with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.

Kevin Chen is the General Manager of Carota's Smart Fleet Management Solutions division. He graduated from the Executive MBA program at the College of Management, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan. 2010 he founded EGK Technology Co., Ltd., specializing in smart fleet management solutions. In 2022, EGK Technology was incorporated into the Carota Corporation, becoming its fleet management business department.

Since July 2018, Edward Tsai has served as a director at Carota. He is currently the Senior Vice President of R&D at Trend Micro (Tokyo Stock Exchange 47040). Since joining Trend Micro in 1994, Edward has managed over 350 employees across product management, marketing, and R&D. He has not only led the development of a series of consumer products, including the flagship product Virus Buster/PC-cillin, which holds a market share of over 60% in Japan and generates an annual revenue of $400 million, but has also spearheaded innovative operational models. Through cloud, network, and endpoint solutions, he provides comprehensive security frameworks for smart homes and smart vehicles, ensuring global customers can safely enjoy the convenience of the Internet of Things. Edward holds a master’s degree in computer engineering from Florida State University.

HJ Hung holds a Master's degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, USA. He serves as the Senior Vice President of the Smart Mobility R&D Headquarters at AU Optronics Corporation (2409), where he is responsible for promoting innovation and research in smart mobility technologies.

In addition to his position at AU Optronics, Mr. Hung is also a board member at Raydium Semiconductor Corporation (3592) and Sitronix Technology Corporation (6680). As of the end of September 2024, he has been appointed as the corporate director representative of Carota Company. With his rich experience and professional knowledge, he plays a vital role in the technology industry, continuously driving Carota’s development and innovation in the industry while actively participating in its operational growth and strategic planning.

Kris Lee holds a master's degree from the Graduate Institute of International Business at National Taiwan University and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Chung Hsing University, demonstrating a strong academic and technical foundation.

Currently, Kris serves as the Senior Manager of Corporate Development at Acer Incorporated (TWSE 2353), where he focuses on driving corporate strategy and fostering innovation. Prior to this role, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at an affiliate of the Acer Group, overseeing daily operations and strategy execution. He also previously worked as a Technical Assistant in the office of the CEO at Acer, assisting the executive management team with technical analysis and decision-making.

With his diverse background and professional experience, Kris was appointed as the corporate director representative of Carota Corporation at the end of September 2024, where he plays a key role in corporate development and technology integration.

Anita Yen holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from National Taiwan University and a master's degree in Accounting from National Chengchi University. She currently serves as the director of Ruiguan CPAs, a renowned financial and accounting expert with extensive academic achievements and professional experience. In September 2024, she became an independent director at Carota.

Anita has previously served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), accounting head, and corporate governance supervisor of Rafael Microelectronics, Inc. (TWSE 6568), and she was also a full-time lecturer in the Accounting and Information Systems Department at Dayeh University. Earlier in her career, she worked as a partner CPA at Chengye United CPAs.

With her extensive experience in finance, accounting, and corporate governance, Anita will provide Carota with valuable insights as an independent financial expert, assisting with professional financial and accounting management analysis, and ensuring compliance with capital market regulations.

Philip Ong holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from National Taiwan University and a master's degree in Investment and Risk Management from City University of London. Currently, he serves as an independent director for ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (TWSE 3711) and Kenda Rubber Industrial Co., Ltd. (TWSE 2106). In September 2024, he joined Carota as an independent director.

Philip has accumulated extensive experience throughout his career in both the private sector and government institutions. He has held prominent positions such as Chairman of SinoPac Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. (TWSE 2890) and Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd. Additionally, he served as Taiwan's representative to India and as a secretary at Taiwan’s representative office in the U.S. In the field of financial regulation, Philip played a key role as director of the New York representative office for the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) and held various important positions at the Ministry of Finance.

With his strong background in finance, risk management, and international relations, Philip brings exceptional insights and leadership to Carota, providing strategic advice for its operational planning.

Jeffrey Ju holds a solid background in engineering and management, having earned both a master's degree from the Institute of Electronics and a bachelor's degree from the Department of Electronics Engineering at National Chiao Tung University. He currently serves as the chairman of Yuenman Technology Consulting Co., Ltd., where he continues to drive technological innovation and industrial development. In September 2024, he was appointed as an independent director at Carota.

Jeffrey has previously held various key leadership roles, including Chief Strategy Officer at Zeku Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Partner of the Industry Investment Fund at Xiaomi Communications. He also served as Executive Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer at MediaTek Inc. (TWSE 2454), where he played a significant role in the company’s operational and strategic development. His career began as an R&D engineer at Winbond Electronics Corporation (TWSE 2344), which laid a strong technical foundation for his later career.

With extensive practical industry experience and a track record in senior management roles at multinational companies, Jeffrey brings valuable insights into operational strategies and business development for Carota.

Mr. Morris Tu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from National Taiwan University, as well as a Master’s and Doctorate in Law from the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently an international partner at King & Wood Mallesons and serves on the boards of several companies, including Alexander Marine Co., Ltd.

 (TWSE 8478). With outstanding academic achievements and extensive professional experience, Morris is recognized as a leading legal expert. In September 2024, he was appointed as an independent director at Carota.

Throughout his career, Morris has held significant roles in various companies, such as being an independent director at FocalTech Systems Co., Ltd. (TWSE 3545) and Wisdom Marine Lines (Cayman) Ltd. (TWSE 2637). He also founded Yuanfang Law Firm, serving as its managing partner, and earlier in his career, worked as a legal advisor for the Chairman and CEO’s office at MediaTek Inc. These experiences have provided him with a deep understanding of legal and business operations.
