On August 30, the 2024 Volvo Cars Advanced Tech Conference, co-hosted by Volvo Cars and Gasgoo, came to a successful conclusion. The forum was held against the backdrop of the global energy structure transition and the increasing awareness of low-carbon initiatives, during a period of rapid development in the new energy vehicle industry. In 2023, China’s production and sales of new energy vehicles each surpassed 9.5 million and 9.4 million units, marking year-on-year growths of 35.8% and 37.9%, respectively. Looking ahead to this year, the industry scale is expected to enter the era of ten million units. As a leading company in the industry, Volvo Cars hosted this forum to invite industry representatives and technology experts to engage in in-depth discussions on hot topics such as automotive-grade chips, integrated chassis, solid-state batteries, and large-scale voice models, exploring future mobility and new ideas for intelligent driving.

As a benchmarking enterprise in the software industry, Carota participated in the conference and had in-depth exchanges with Volvo clients, introducing Carota's OTA upgrade and remote diagnosis solutions, which can provide complete and flexible OTA solutions from the cloud car in one stop. As the demand for intelligent cockpits rises year by year, the core technology of smart cockpits—specifically, the upgrade of in-vehicle human-machine interaction experience—will achieve "one person, one car" customization through continuous OTA iterations.

In addition, Carota also showcased its latest generation of the self-developed universal OTA simulation testbed. This equipment supports various tasks in the OTA upgrade process, including detecting upgrade tasks, downloading upgrade packages, automatically verifying package integrity, pre-condition checks, performing flashing, and rolling back in case of upgrade failures, providing users with a completely new operational experience.
This conference is not only a concentrated display of innovative technologies but also a discussion of the industry's future development. In the face of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change in the global automotive industry, Carota will continue to make continuous progress and explore OTA, work with OEMs, jointly promote industrial progress, and build a good future with Carota.
